yeah... I'd really like the container to be at the window or tab group level, not the individual tab level.

And those backup generators just lying around, waiting for their fuel to be "adjusted"

In 2024, I put together a pack of SVG wallpapers based on some iconic vintage computer front panels, because the industrial design was (imo) beautiful.
At the time, I shared them to mastodon, but that was two instances ago, and they were only created as 1920x1080 images.
So today, I've put them on my website, along with the #inkscape SVGs used to create them.

I've been job searching since April, without much luck unfortunately.
If anyone is looking for a linux sysadmin with 10+ years of zfs, proxmox, Ansible, and xcp-ng/Xenserver experience in Kitchener-Waterloo, or remote from Canada, I'd be grateful to be considered.

pretty sure most of the homelabs of people here have better uptime than github.

Definitely yes, but likely for folks that had joined shortly before the shutdown (ie, people unfamiliar with the fediverse as a whole) it would break their trust in mastodon as a "platform" (yes, I know it's not a platform).

It's once again time for a new #introduction
Hi! I'm Crabbypup, or just 'crabby', though only in name.
I'm in Kitchener-Waterloo, and I'm a linux-flavoured computer toucher.
I share stuff about the region, Open source software in general and #linux in specific.
I like to tinker in my #homelab, where I run #proxmox, #ceph, and a bunch of other #selfhosted services including #homeassistant.
I'm a rather inconsistent poster, and a prolific booster, but I'm glad to be here.
