One of the biggest reasons Kat Abughazaleh reads as legit to me is that she was literally indicted for participating in protests that were obstructing ICE operations.
She wasn't afraid to participate in political activity that led to criminal charges (since dismissed) & physical injury during her campaign. She didn't try to keep her hands clean to help her political chances.
And no, she didn't win that primary (thanks AIPAC $$), but she'll be back.
