Members of the Mecca Defence Alliance are meeting with Iranian officials in Tehran for talks on “endogenous security” in West Asia.

Saudi Defence Minister Khalid bin Salman, Pakistan’s army chief Asim Munir, and Türkiye’s intelligence chief Ibrahim Kalin are sitting down with Iranian National Security Council secretary Mohsen Rezaei. The high-level gathering is described as unprecedented.

According to Iranian media, the agenda includes regional security, the implications of recent military aggression, and support for groups in Lebanon and Palestine.
