I need funding for a new horror movie idea. It's called "The Sponge" and in it, a mad scientist develops a bio-engineered sponge that grows faster. Then the scientist discovers it doesn’t merely filter seawater. It can break down organic matter, incorporate useful cells, and keep expanding. Rats disappear. Then a lab technician. Soon there’s a sponge-shaped bulge breathing gently inside the ventilation system.

“It doesn’t feel pity, or remorse, or fear. And it absolutely will not stop, ever, until you are dead!” - Kyle Reese "The Terminator"
