Are you talking about people online or in real life?
Online, people seem to be very weird.
In real life their weirdness is more tempered by reality. That and the fact they know that if they get too mouthy, obnoxious and weird they're likely to get a knuckle sandwich.
The "fetish" sites that exist sound pretty weird. Out f of curiosity I joined one briefly and it wasn't too hard to out-weird them, proving what I've long thought - most thing online are fake.
