Back to the case where this is forced on us... I'm glad that the Consultation talks about a physical card alternative. Necessary for a bunch of situations/people. The Consultation doesn't seem to bring up if those with a physical card will get the same privacy protections that it suggests the digital ID will allow. They could choose to design a physical card that let the owner choose what was readable from it. Will they?
