Some of the interesting ones I have come across while traveling include Plattdeutsch in north Germany, pidgeon English in the Solomon Islands, Gaelic in several small villages in Ireland, Grindelwalder Deutsch and Ratoromanisch in Switzerland, Zorbish around the German-Czech border, Patois in Dominica and Trinidad and Tobago, Maori in Aotearoa and Rahdener Deutsch in Germany. There are many more but these are interesting examples. All add richness to the human presence. Sadly we seem to be dumbing down and reducing diversity around the world.
