🐸 This Green Tree Frog is watching over my Zucchini plant (metric name = Courgette).
🐞 It should be able to pick off pests like Squash Bugs so I don't have to. It should also take out some predatory insects that attack pollinators.
Like I captured previously: https://mindly.social/@joewynne/114684632795378322
🐸 I hand dug a pond so that frogs would proliferate in my yard and they have. Some nights males of 3 or 4 species are calling for mates simultaneously. Kinda sexy.
🕸️ Frogs are important players in a biodiverse habitat. They are prey and predators. They keep down populations of insects and pesky mollusks. They advantageously take out mosquitoes at the pond. They also keep the pond healthy.
I could go on, but you get it.
