The safest option is for the first version of my OpenHD setup to just use a Raspberry Pi 4B as the transmitter and another as the receiver.

I already have a Pi 4B laying around, so just gotta buy another.

It’s strange that the Pi 5 can only do video encoding on the CPU, because they removed the dedicated hardware video encoder for some reason 🤷‍♂️ And this is why it’s not officially supported by OpenHD.
