Leyland probably deserve some credit for being good sports by going along with CAR’s ideas to improve the Marina. But I’m not sure it worked in PR terms because they didn’t end up changing the production car much despite the project showing that some fairly easy changes could have made the car much better.
The ever excellent ARonline has this interesting account of the Marauder project from someone involved in the project from the Leyland side. (2/2)
