"content": "Today, an interesting chapter in the story of yesterday’s car, the Morris Marina estate. In 1973, Leyland entered into a collaboration with the respected CAR magazine to explore how its humdrum workhorse might be improved with a bit of imagination and readily available parts. The result was the Marina Marauder (foreground). The blue car was a parallel, Leyland-only project. My copy of the original 1974 magazine, snapped at McDonalds this morning.
