I'll regret cramming it into a toot, but among folks who see LLMs as transformative, I'm baffled that so few try to carve out a new path for their craft.
It's either "we're cooked and nothing makes sense anymore" or "I'll get ahead because I prompt better than anyone else".
The fundamental decision for certain trades is whether there's some deeper value to humans doing it. If no, it's just down to mitigating potential economic impacts. If yes, now's the time to define that value and get buy-in for your views.
