So #OpenAI wants to be friends again?
https://openai.com/index/advisory-group-on-mathematics-and-ai/It's hard to understand what this means. Everything is so slick and a bit meaningless. Maybe they used AI to write their statement?
"Importantly, the group will not be responsible for advising us on how to pace our internal progress on mathematics." 🤔
Sounds to me like: "OK, we will solve your problems in any case, if you don't want to hear the solutions we will just keep quiet."
So they produced 100 new theoremoids spending a couple millions of dollars and now they are asking us if we want to hear them?
And then what "we" do is to set up a Google Form in which mathematicians can say how they think the 100 new results should be disseminated ?
