ELOTE MEZCAL OF

- 2 dashes bitters

- 2 drops saline solution

- ¼ oz Ancho Reyes chili liqueur

- ¾ oz Nixta Licor de Elote

- 1½ oz mezcal

Stir // Strain // Garnish: orange twist

Last week Das (npub1kyd…jltj) was whipping up some mezcal cocktails and inspired me. This one was delish! I agree with his modifications from the source: no agave syrup needed and I simplified the build by using Ancho Reyes instead of infusing the mezcal. My mezcal is slightly overproof at 46% which helped it stand up to the other sweet ingredients. Cheers!
