Many of those here on Pedi may not believe in God. Many may reject the messages delivered to them by charlatans pretending to do God's will. All can be forgiven. You cannot help what you do not know. And when your heart tells you that something is wrong, even before you mind understands why it is wrong, that is the holy spirit leaving you hints that this is a path you should not follow. Those who claim to follow Christ, but do not follow his teachings of love, forgiveness, and gentleness do not have the holy spirit with them. In rejecting them, this does not mean you have to reject God.

It may come that within your lifetime, God will be with us in the flesh once more. If you should meet him, humble yourself. None of us are perfect, but those who seek forgiveness for their imperfections will surely receive it. But woe is to those who, having rejected his teachings, say to the returned savior, "Lord, Lord, have we not cast out demons in your name?" Only to be told, "I never knew you. Depart from me, you who practice evil."
