Africa's growing e-waste crisis
Africa is a dumping ground for Global North e-waste
https://www.meer.com/en/110183-africas-growing-e-waste-crisis
E-waste is the story that the techies never like to tell or hear about. What happened to those 18 billion--yes, 18 billion--smartphones made since 2007.
What happened to the billions of laptops?
What happened to the used solar panels?
Poisoning the land
Poisoning the water
Poisoning the air
And you say there's something called green tech and clean energy?
