CNN is so scamy here. The article does not tell us a key piece of information. I strongly suspect this woman had already been vaccinated and she is trying to get a booster. Since she is not at risk, no one knows if the booster does much other than protect her from mild symptoms for a short months. Her protection from severe outcomes is, as far as anyone knows, still there from her initial vaccination and (presumed) natural infection.
You can see the mixed use of "pregnant women" and "pregnant people", I presume this is the start of a slow reversion.
