I got myself Duolingo Premium last year as a big treat: no ads, unlimited hearts, a personalized practice area based on your errors & weaknesses.
It just expired. I had forgotten how obtrusive the ads were. 😅
I'm debating whether to upgrade to premium again while their new year sale is on (for roughly another 24 hours).
It's money I don't need to spend, but it would absolutely remove some friction from my life (a rare opportunity).
