#FediCoven 2026 Q5: What helps you feel welcome in a pagan or witchy space? And what doesn't.

For me, what genuinely welcomes me is the interest and curiosity of others. Someone's interest in me, sparks my interest in them. And loads of things like kindness, and diversity, etc... and tea.
Any sort of hierarchy or authority unsettles me. I can tolerate seeing someone lead, but this has to be leading, not commanding. Any sort of gatekeeping, and I'm out.
