I waited 18 mos to be able to take just 3 people at a time to Swansea (BLM). The helicopter landing had nearly 0 environmental impact. I only did it once in a year. Not worth it. Meanwhile, it's perfectly legal for me to do a personal flight with friends and land in the same place. A commercial helicopter tour flying back-and-forth over the site would certainly have a greater environmental impact, but a permit was not required. (2/2)
