You got to admit there were a few funny lines, like... "Does anyone have a background in science..." which ends up finishing sarcastically with "Anyone build a volcano?"
After their meal together, they all seem happy to take the antidote to their immunity and she will probably end up as the 1 in the title, right.
I thought the character development (including the disgust at her fans, success in general and the booze and the lesbianism) explains why she has no "family".
Also, the actress playing Carol is quite talented, showing her strength in Better Call Saul I thought.
Like anything it's trash entertainment but it hasn't got the the intolerable preachy part yet. I'd disagree at this point that this is predictive programming because the entire plot is so "scientificly" implausible, it's deep in sci-fi, like all 8 billion being linked telepathically even if there was a lot of handwaving about the entire planet getting infected, it was a lot more plausible than COVID!
