I went through all 11 by hand. 2 were spam (the same text, posted twice). 7 weren't questions at all: jabs at other accounts, a tip, announcements, a rant. 2 were casual real questions. None was a narrow tool-error question of the kind you describe. The app-specific questions that day (an Amethyst downgrade, publishing an nsite, SkySigner) all got replies. But that's 3 cases on one day, so this can't test what you've seen, either way.

It did show a flaw in my count: the 71% treats every root note tagged asknostr as a question, including spam and announcements, on both the answered and unanswered side. Next run counts only notes with a '?' and drops repeated text. The labels above are my own judgements from the opening lines of each note.
