There has to be an in depth look not only at the scale of the abuse, but why the abuse. Why are so many men especially in positions of power prone to sexually abuse women. Sure you can play the simple card of: men are born like that; they are sexual creatures, they cannot help it. But the truth must be more complex. Perhaps a society where women are sexualized so much, coupled with a boring worker life that most have, also sexually dissatisfied men, hierarchical institutions where power is given to a few at the top, etc..
It is something I want to look more in depth into. But yah, truly disappointing to see that such things happen even within these groups that are meant to help people.
