The existing fiat system is entirely to reliable. I mailed a check on October 13 as payment for milkweed seed collecting. It is October 27 and not only has the check not been cashed. It has not even arrived at the destination.
Obviously this has more to do with the failure of the postal system, in this case.
Compare that to the payment sent to btc postage for ₿.00102654 for only ₿.00000032 in fees. It was confirmed in under two hours between 11:30pm and 1:30am.
Which network is more trustworthy?
