The existing fiat system is entirely to reliable. I mailed a check on October 13 as payment for milkweed seed collecting. It is October 27 and not only has the check not been cashed. It has not even arrived at the destination.
Obviously this has more to do with the failure of the postal system, in this case.
Compare that to the payment sent to btc postage for ₿.00102654 for only ₿.00000032 in fees. It was confirmed in under two hours between 11:30pm and 1:30am.

Something tells me the Federal Funds rate may tick up another 25 basis points sooner than expected. No? Tune in Wednesday for the results of the fiat experiment 🧪

It must be everyone’s lowest priority.
First Echinacea purpurea to flower. It may be shorter than every other purple coneflower. But it appears to be doing well.

Naw. Give it a shot. The eggs are great.
I only visited a ranch with chickens. I saw this book on their bookshelf.

True. Congress won’t do shit about high prices. But the normal everyday guy now holds the power of deflation in their hands.

Yahoo. Then I’ve recouped my initial costs for the bulbs!
Thank you ANON
Your generosity does not go unnoticed!
They survived, thrived. In fact I completely forget about them in the summer and winter when I don’t see any flowers.
8A northern Utah. About 14° last winter.
I planted the bulbs in October 2024 and they get no special care. Looks like they are sold out from where I bought them, for now. Grows well in zone 8a and elsewhere. https://www.reneesgarden.com/products/saffron-bulbs?variant=6853022056481&_su_rec=xOfo68hi3cJbjlvPk07Xjp6Uh7NIJVJVRTzwmp6_ZY31NLcB5y4ofEiPVDTvDB_6IGzv6mpXfHSOresnmFShvO3cSC--6yn7F5X3iD65wMMvFnp-l_-MGVy-1GMOb13mUb-87MYK-ijAJfgR7GqS10WsWaBO4sx2KTUBns_c-qCWV17-gTIS3W7UeacN8fNDg2BbXgC30NfrcI5WPVLE6LDA9LSZskFRefqC77D5ab5QlgVIQM3aN0Ln_cNUC9C8ZMIbPjt6bZoYDBT2oIyR0achcixC8rfSkpa0P6HDpkCVmzwZaBOgv-icgyRgSFq3ycIzgnGInXcCyk8N4z4S1XlUJW1oOJ-DIU9Bk6Zik51G&_su_rec_id=b6837e91-9990-4689-9412-391ce8c47344-1792889875
Grilled the first ₿eef burgers from Hoggan Ranch. The 1lb package made us two perfect 1/2lb patties. I added some Worcestershire sauce and onion powder. Finished with salt and cheese. Excellent burgers!

Rice is gonna be 🔥 next month. I’d like to thank my past-self for planting all those saffron bulbs. Surprises me every spring and fall. Like clockwork they are ready on the best weather days of the year.

Solution: install Avalon Q app on computer, install tailscale on computer and phone, install Remote VNC viewer on iPhone. Remotely control from phone thru the home computer on the LAN.

The statement about being the first monarch to Mexico is inaccurate. I believe what was trying to be conveyed is that this is the first monarch documented to migrate from Utah (the western migration summer breeding ground) into Mexico (the eastern migration wintering site). The Rocky Mountains were long believed to limit monarch migration from the east becoming a western monarch and vise versa. This has now be proven an inaccurate model of the migration.
A “monarch named UB26-UT-06-Chew originated in northeast Utah on September 2 and was the first radio- tagged butterfly known to cross the U.S. border and be detected on October 11 in Santa Catarina, Nuevo León, Mexico.”
