Pretty much exactly why I try to get contractors to do lump sum and they try to get hourly. 😅 I mean, I have to respect both sides on that overall. It's annoying when people take your time arguing and you should definitely be paid for your time. Simultaneously, I have a personal lawyer who does nothing without at least monthly reminders and charges me for reminding him, and a corporate lawyer who submits things I have to proofread to shreds then debits us four figures an hour for fixing their typos I caught.
