I started wondering about religious horror game since I got inspired by various games and media. I would set it up with Call of Cthulhu, all eldritch creatures supplemented by demons and angels, spells being prayers and goetia, instead of Sanity you would have Faith and you'd lose it permanently if you learned about Divinity, because knowing there is a god is different than believing in it. Constantine meets Omen meets exorcist movies, Trench Crusade, Blasphemous and real life occultism.
