"content": "Another new-to-Mastodon update: I have another book coming out next year! This one is about the fossil record of colours, patterns and pigments. #Dinosaurs are the title and cover stars (for reasons I needn't explain) but the book covers everything about the field of palaeocolour, from how it is preserved and interpreted, to colour data in lineages from microbes to mammoths. Much #paleoart (and palaeoart-relevant info) lies within. \n\nhttps://press.princeton.edu/books/hardcover/9780691282886/the-colors-of-dinosaurs-and-the-prehistoric-world\n\nhttps://cdn.masto.host/sauropodswin/media_attachments/files/117/479/690/847/650/956/original/00b91ae8459f1af7.png",
