That all being said: Zelensky didn`t really get a special treatment. The new thing about it was that it was choreographed before the cameras, but non-western leaders have had to endure this kind of arrogant treatment from the USA since basically ever. Remember, it was Obama who told african leaders that they needed to stop blame europes colonialism for the state of their countries.
What *really* happened was simply that Ukrainian slavs got demoted back to non-white.
