The best way I can think of to put this is I think you're conflating "conservative" with everyone on the right at all (as happens a lot here in the US at least.) But those on the right aren't conservative here anymore. They're far-right extremist zealots who stand behind white supremacy, forcing their chosen religion on others, etc etc. I want to be clear, *they* are the ones forcing themselves on others. Thus others block when they actually can do that.
