📰 Yes, Virginia, There's a New Agrivoltaics Law Supporting Wildlife-Friendly Farming
🌎 Virginia, U.S.: Legislation has been adopted to encourage agrivoltaics, where agriculture and solar development share the same land.
☀️ Projects may allow crops or livestock to coexist with renewable energy infrastructure instead of competing for space.
🐝 Well-designed agrivoltaic systems can also create opportunities for pollinator habitat and biodiversity gains.
