#ScribesAndMakers 1/23 If you garden, do you ever give away your produce?
Yes. Often.
This is more a product of Puerto Rican culture. If you have a fruit tree in your house, it will typically yield more fruit than most households can eat at once. My neighbor hangs bags of ripe bananas on our fence sometimes. We return the favor with papayas, pana, and parcha.
When we get a good haul of pana, my wife will take bags of it to her crossfit gym, or I'll take some to school with me for the rest of the faculty. They disappear real fast.
