"content": "This weeks #Lego #FossilFriday is #Ornithomimus.\n\nIn 1890, Ornithomimus velox was given a type species by O. C. Marsh. It was based off a partial hindlimb, and forelimb that had been found in 1889 by George Lyman Cannon.\n\nHe also named two other species O. tenuis, and O. grandis. Both are fragmentary, and now believed to be tyrannosauroid material.\n\nIn 1892, O. minutus was named by him as well.
