The first one, I believe, left permanent damage. I had severe issues trying to recall basic words when I was concussed and even after the major symptoms were gone, I still had that issue more than before the trauma. I never felt like my brain returned to the way I could think before. I lost clarity. I just got used to it and accepted that sometimes the most basic words will elude me and I just navigate around them when it happens.
