I don't think you're qualified to judge the quality of anybody's code or what good practices are based on our exchange, considering that you confuse causes with effect and clearly do not show signs to understand the basic principles underlying what a Linux-based operating system is.
For example according to you, GIMP is not Linux, but you think that GTK and QT is Linux, in the same sense that you probably think the same people who make the kernel are responsible for libc.
