App “designers” should know two things about people like me:
- I’m constantly “busy” and “stressed”
- I do have auto-dismiss muscle memory
- I have tiny memory span
If your new-super-awesome-edgy-feature is advertised to me via an in-app pop up or even worse - modal, then there is exactly zero chance I will ever see that information. No matter how much you think you shoved it in my face, there will be no conscious registration of that feature ever existing.
