That's a spokesperson for Foodstuffs supermarkets in a NZ news story today about people entering fruit as brown onions to pay less at the self-checkout.
I agree it's theft.
It is also kinda' odd that Foodstuffs takes people's money and gives it to shareholders and CEO bonuses. Why is that hack and not theft?
The farmers growing us food don't benefit either way.
