I just checked out the “great deal” over at #Duolingo. The monthly price is apparently reduced by 60%. Turns out: You would pay 5,99€ / month (only if you take it for a full year) and it is actually only a ~3% discount because the calculate the 60% from the base price per month of 14,99€. Normally this would cost 6,49€ / month. So you get about 6€ discount on the year. What a steal.
