I realized this weekend that a coworker is straight-up mentally ill and living in a sort-of fantasy/delusion that is completely made up in his head, and now I get to work with just him and me there a couple days a week. As he explained how his ex was secretly working with all his friends (for years) to do something really nice and surprise him with a big reveal that they want to film, I began to get a cold eerie feeling like in The Shining where she looks at his writing and it all says "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy" over and over.
