Compared to last year we had more than 100x the users on [@foss_public_alert_server](https://floss.social/@foss_public_alert_server ) for this year's national alert test in Germany. And it showed the same bottlenecks we had already seen during the recent heat waves: notification delivery is slowed down and eventually stalls entirely due to about 40% going to push servers that rate limit under such conditions. Mozilla's and #KDE's push servers carried the bulk of the notifications, without hitting limits.
