My first #fishshell script is very simple:
#!/usr/bin/env fish
set date ( LC_TIME=en_US.UTF-8 date +"%A, %B %-d" )
echo "date|string|$date"
echo ""
(It’s for yambar.)
Even then, I had to learn how to set variables from commands and output them.
Why am I learning fish? I’m diversifAIng… My hints are very subtle.
