When my senior tennis players graduated last year, I intentionally wrote my congratulatory graduation letters in cursive...they could not read it.
I spend energy putting heartfelt, encouraging, hopeful messages into these...and told them they could either ask their parents to read it to them, or learn cursive.
Everything I write to my grandkids is in cursive, also. Trying to keep the dying art alive. And my cursive is a LOT better than this because I had a teacher who leaned in to teaching me a more flowing script. Definitely not calligraphy, but my wife and daughters always love it. Funny thing is that I've signed enough mortgages...and spent years signing martial arts and tennis certificates...that it trashed my signature unless I write really slowly.
