While I was uncomfortable from the start with the Internet Archive's appropriation of libraries' "brand" to bolster their fair-dealing case in the court of public appeal, we should remember that a lot of libraries and librarians were glad to see IA take on the publishers and set a new precedent for fair-use. It seems disingenuous now to "tsk! tsk!" them now.
