I've been a Linux user for more than 30 years. The HUGE understatement of year would be telling you how much I love Linux and FOSS.

With that said, I am continually disappointed at how many Linux distribution projects and Open Source software projects are "all-in" with using AI. Even with all of the ethical issues. Like with everything else, I'm now having to check project pages before downloading and using an Open Source app or curious about a Linux distribution to see if they are using AI for part of the development. There are a few projects that I have been supporting monetarily over the years but just this week, I ended the support for all of them.

Sorry, I'll get off my soapbox, but this is all just sad.
