I would assume that China wouldn't want to live in a world where America remains the dominant country.
In all honesty, I think it would be completely reasonable for both countries to not want the other to be dominant. America obviously doesn't want to live in a socialist dominate world, and I would assume China wouldn't want to live in a capitalist dominated world.
