i would guess they are leaving it open to interpretation or it's a fake pump. but i agree and i will sign it because regardless of the shit policy pushed by the biden admin against biden wishes, the reality is these immigrants are being entrapped into legal purgatory while also having this ongoing vagary erode justice for citizens. the necessity for having open court cases be heard by a judge is imperative for the solidity of the courts system. if judges are corrupt - throw out the judges. if the cases were predatory - mark them as such and handle them properly by dropping charges with proper notification. but you cannot simply erase the court cases because you allowed federal and state enforcement to be used for moonlighting bounty hunters to profit for corporate human trafficking.
handle it properly. if there was malfeasance - deal with it and get the cases dismissed on behalf of the citizens being preyed on by unchecked bounty ("ice"). bring real immigration cases before judges and make a fucking decision.
