2/4 - Earlier this year, Apple introduced a new HLS-based video podcast.
More recently, with iOS 27, Apple expanded video support with features including read-along transcripts, chapters, media links, and playback on Mac and Apple TV.
Now, Apple has announced that video is coming to Apple Podcasts Subscriptions as well.
This means creators will be able to offer subscriber-exclusive video episodes, ad-free video, early access, and bonus video content through the same subscription system.
