I am more than willing to consider factors like externalities, resource consumption and feeding billionaire fascists, that sort of sensible argument, from people who are willing to talk about it with an open mind.

However, I am not willing to entertain the notion that using an agentic LLM setup *can't* produce working software -- the evidence falsifies that hypothesis fully and completely.

The fact that virtually all "vibe coded" software is complete and utter trash, a fact I observe and an opinion I agree with, clearly stems from issues separate from whether or not it's actually *possible* to produce good things with it.
