the way I see it is- agreed, we have and have had a very cosy clubhouse and there are things I miss about that. :) There are people I have known for many years on the Fedi that I consider life-long friends even when it's simply a handle and am lucky to have met many of them in real life also. But I also feel a responsibility in that people need a place to communicate openly without artificial opinion-shaping and no single point of failure. At this point I think- we're it.
