This is a serious problem. The fragmentation of effort and short lifetime of projects. I use meshchat - even though it is end of life because I know it can run on a pi zero and does all I need. It would be nice to have a way to learn the best from all the frozen projects and design a scaffold for a definitive "one tool one job" suite. There is no actual need for an all singing all dancing GUI. KISS is perhaps the way forward with consistency between separate apps.
